I am connected to my home WiFi. I've noticed that WiFi is constantly scanning. How do I get the scanning to stop?
Go into your settings and then wifi. Press menu and access advanced. You can stop scanning from within that screen.

On my Note 4 went to advanced settings and unclicked always allow scanning . Darned phone is still scanning. I'm concerned it's draining on my battery.
What notification do you have that it is still scanning? Is this while you are on the screen with other networks listed?
Yes, that is where it shows scanning.
