I have a Droid Maxx and I use hangouts quite a bit to keep in touch.. I recently realized that I cannot receive messages on cellular data and only over wifi. How can I change that?
Switch back to your old default messaging app and try that. If still no sms, contact Verizon. Hangouts works over any connection as long as it is the default SMS app.
thank you... But I don't use it for sms, I just use it with google email addresses not numbers
