Verizon is putting a personal touch to the static and generic avatars for the forum reps. Nice. Anyone else notice the updates?
For which reps?
That's their profile pic and NOT their avatar. The VZW avatar would still be what a person sees the discussion threads. You can only see those pictures by visiting their profile page or seeing the change in the profile updates of the Activity page. How many people actually use the Activity page or visit the reps profile pages on a regular basis? I know I don't. If I view the Activity page more than once a month it is an odd month. I detest that page because as soon as I leave it it resets the spot where new activity stops even if I hadn't gotten through it as far as I wanted. I despise the Social updates and various other non-essential information on that page.
I use the Activity page exclusively, as it is almost a mirror of my Connections Stream. I take the time to read up on the reps who come through who have valid and helpful info. I figure they are a part of the community as well, even if not customer peers, they are involved here. Honestly, I have never seen updates like the photo above. I have seen only the red avatar and a name, and when visiting a rep's profile, I never see a photo.
