Why did my iphone4 all the sudden ask for a mailbox number for voicemail? If someone calls they get the same response.

I'm afraid not. The voicemail mailbox number is only used within the system to link to your phone number. We'd need to get your voicemail fully set up and connected properly. *Zaak
