I'm unable to access *86. Been this way for about 10 days. Any suggestions?
Any particular error message when you call the voicemail system?
The "computer voice" comes on and says, "I'm sorry. This call cannot be
completed as dialed....." I have used the voicemail widget, and physically
dialed *86 and the same thing happens. I can call from another phone and
retrieve my VMs, but can't get them on my own phone.
Are you, by any chance, traveling and away from your "home" area, or billiing area? *86 only works in your local home area. Try calling your own # from your cell phone (all ten digits), then press # during your greeting. You should be able to retrieve your VM that way.
I've tried dialing the ten digit number several times and I can't get the
call to go through. I've been home each time and have never had a problem
with voice mail before. I always get the same computer voice that the
number can't be completed as dialed.
Make sure you have initiated Voice Mail the first time from the voice mail application on your phone. You can't access *86 until you've setup it via the voice mail application.
Has anyone called you and left you a voicemail? If no one can call your voicemail, that means there is an issue with forwarding and you would need help from tech support on that one.
Have had this for about a year. Voice mail was set up then and has been
working just fine until recently.

It's a Samsung Galaxy 4 about a year old. No other problems with the phone.
