I guess Verizon's new way of rewarding customer loyalty is by charging a $40 upgrade fee when renewing your contract? When did merchants start penalizing customers for loyalty? It's funny, everytime I go in there they try to convince me or force me to pay more for the same or pay the same for less! Absolutely zero reward for being a longtime Verizon customer. I've been with them since 2003 and I have noticed a consistent decline in customer appreciation especially in the last few years. Maybe in another 12 years instead of being greeted at the stores entrance by a representative they will just pay a homeless guy to spit in your face and bill you for it. Thanks for keeping it classy Verizon.
