How do I unlock my Note 4?

I have completely forgotten my passcode for my Note 4 and so Im locked out!! I really do NOT want to do a hard reset and lose everything

I'm so sorry to hear of the problems you're having unlocking your Galaxy Note 4! I can definitely understand your concerns with losing your device data. However, the only way to unlock the device, if you're unable to recall the correct passcode, would be to hard reset the device. The good news is that anything previously syncing with your device, such as anything backed up on Google/GMail, can easily be restored to the device once you set it up and reintegrate those accounts. Let me know how that works out for you.

I Will double check, but after 5 failed attempts, it should ask for your Google password to unlock.
