How to enable repeat notifications??

Using Droid Turbo with Message+... is there some way to enable repeat notifications for missed calls, texts, emails, etc??

I'll get a notification when I receive something, but if I'm not by phone, it eventually goes away, & unless I unlock my phone, there's no way of knowing.

All my old phones would flash until I'd open the notification, so I'd always know I missed a call, text, etc.

This seems to be a no-brainer, but there doesn't seem to be a setting, whether in specific apps, or globally in android.

You don't have to unlock the phone to see the notifications - just pass your hand over the screen and you will see the time, and a lock icon if there are no notifications. Email will show as an envelope, text as a dialog bubble, missed call and voicemail icons will show...and you can log press each one to see a snippet of the text, or email. You only need to unlock the phone to view the full message or notification in it's associated app.

VZW Messages does have a setting within that allows for re-notification x number times or minutes.

That's mostly for the conservation of the battery. I'm not sure if any phone will give you a constant reminder of a notification.

All my phones have had a notification (led flashing), until I unlocked the phone. If I have bell off at night, I would always know in morning, by looking at phone, if I missed something.

Yea, the droid turbo doesn't have that same led to flash. The turbo is essentially a phone made and sold for it's battery power and lasting abilities. Your notification should show until you unlock the phone, or until you have too many notifications to show details.

I know the G2 allows for notification every 5 min and the led continues to flash until you dismiss the notification, even after you unlock the screen. I can also turn on or off the led separately. I know that doesn't help with the Turbo though. My Razr Maxx was like the Turbo. Must be a Moto thing.

That's what I want, but they stop showing. If I'm at work, I can't have sound on. So, I look at phone periodically for a notification. I can't keep staring at phone all the time. Now, I have to unlock to see any missed calls or texts. Looks like I need a 3rd party app... if anyone has any recommendations. Thanks!

LightFlow is a good app that I have used on previous phones that lacked a good led notification system.

Goto settings>moto>actions... Activate the Approach for moto display. With this on any movement over the phone will show the lock and below it will be a symbol if you have mail, missed a call, or have a text. I use all of the moto options. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I have approach on. But after a while, it only shows the lock icon.

What I'd like is to be able to look over at phone, & see some notification. If I just miss something, I'll see it, but it only flashes on or off for a few minutes.

LightFlow lets you set the speed of a blink and the color of a notification, it supports tons of apps and tou can also change the notification sound.

Lightflow might not work because there isn't a notification LED on the Turbo.

To the OP, do you swipe the notifications to the left if you look at the phone?

Actually, all I'm interested in is seeing a notification. Once the original notification flashing stops, all I see on lock screen is the lock icon, so I have to unlock screen to see any missed calls, etc.. Gonna be testing different 3rd-party apps. Found a few that don't have any *evil* permissions... first will be "Notific:Lockscreen Notification"... simple, no extra junk or permissions.
