My small community uses a facebook page to communicate with when these unexplained outages occur. Messages began being posted at 8am. " Anybody having cell phone problems with Verizon?", then, the rest of us join in and compare notes. When I went to bed last night it had been 12 hours of NO cell phone calls coming in OR going out. This was true for MOST of all of the Verizon customers who live in Borrego. What is going on ? Why have we not been contacted and offered an intelligent explanation ? This has happened before. Apparently Borrego is considered a "marginal" coverage region now. We , as customers, should be offered a way out of our contracts if this is not remedied.
