2 days ago I was trying to upload photos to my LG G2 phone from my computer and the Verizon update software said there was an important update. Normally I do not perform these updates until I am able to research them a bit, but the update was already out for more then 30 days. The new Lollipop software. I thought that most of the bugs would be cleared. However, once the update was completed, I lost complete function of my phone. I was unable to call out, unable to recieve calls, and unable to enable both the wifi and bluetooth. Both mac address were gone in the look up info.
Took the phone up to the local Verizon store where I bought the phone, they poked at it for about 45 mins, claimed it was a hardware issue and because I didn't have the protection plan, I was SOL.
After researching I was able to get the phone back to the stock software, and everything worked again, phone, wifi, bluetooth. But the system kept pressing me to process the update again, and I couldn't get the message to leave, so once again, forced to process the update again, this time I have phone and text ability, but the bluetooth and wifi both won't enable and the battery is draining way to fast.
I am ready to cancel this over priced service if they can't get their stuff together and provide us with either a fix or a support group who can help troubleshoot these issues correctly.
Has anyone had the same issue? and if so, have you've found a fix for this?
