Why can we not use our verizon cell phones at our home in Huletts Landing, NY?

Why can we not use our verizon cell phones at our home in Huletts Landing, NY?.....There is a cell tower there that AT&T customers use for their cell phones, but Verizon has made no effort to make service available for Verizon cell phone customers.

Verizon can't just stick a tower anywhere it wants whenever it wants. It has to get approval form the local zoning board which often denies these towers and even when they approve it take they own sweet time doing so. Do a google search for "Verizon tower denied" and you'll see how hard local governments make it for cell companies to provide service for their citizens

One does not expect Verizon to "stick a tower anywhere it wants, wherever it wants." However, AT&T put up a tower in 2011-2012, and according to sources, Verizon could share that tower......The Verizon customers who live in and around Huletts Landing, that have no cell service but are paying for Verizon cell phones that they can use many places outside of Huletts Landing, wonder why AT&T cell customers are given the ability to use their cell phones in Huletts Landing and Verizon customers are not.

Not if at&t owns that tower or it at&t has an exclusive lease either of which is very possible.

This is the tower owner in your area and contact info so ask them about it.
