Plan changes have hidden fees?

Are there any extensions of changing your data plan or other fees associated with changing your data plan not listed online? I don't want to hit the confirm button only to see a change to my plan end date or a fee for changing my data plan. My current plan is 4 GB for $56, the new would be $40, so I'd be saving $16, but if it will change my contract end date or add any fees its not worth it. My contract end date is next month. Thanks

Make sure you change you plan to retroactively start on the 1st day of you current cycle or to start on the first day of your next cycle. Don't select start today.

THis his states your contract is over on 6/20/2016, so it does look like your contract is extended.

you didn't do a loyalty plan did you?, that will extend your contract by a year if you have less than a year to go. These are special deals offered by a rep that are not on the web page.

There are no fees with changing your plan, and because you are going to a cheaper plan, there shouldn't be any type of partial month increase amount. Just remember that you may not be able to go back to a certain plan for the price you were paying before should you decide to. Also be cautious of how much data you've already used. For instance if you had 4GB and are moving to 2GB, make sure your data usage isn't already over 2GB.

no, my data plan won't be changing. It is currently now $56 for 4 GB, going to $40 for 4GB. So no changes except for price. Was confused cause it says

Upgrade at Discount 06/20/16

or Upgrade Now at full price.

That is usually for your phone upgrade and should be located near or around a picture of your phone, nothing to do with your actual plan.
