copy/paste does not work on my DROID ULTRA

It is so aggravating when I copy text and go to the message center or text someone and what I copied does paste. What pastes is what I had in the memory before I copied what I want to paste. It is so frustrating

Oh my! We know its important for all features to work properly on your device. When did this issue start? When you copy an item does it say "copied" after you click on the word "copy"?
