Why all of a sudden do I not have 4g LTE? Or even 3g?

I have been a faithful Verizon customer for years. Due mostly to their good service. Now all of a sudden I don't get any service at all. My calls are dropping and I can't access web content. I have a Galaxy Note 3 and the recent update to 5.0 seems to have crapped out my service. I need to get this fixed or else pursue another carrier. I pay for and need good service.

The update completed a few weeks to a month ago. I find myself powering my

phone down several times a day to try and regain service. I have tried

removing the battery several times as well. Sometimes nothing works so I

have to run off a wifi network which in turn drains my battery.

I want to get your phone back to work. There can be several things that can cause difficulty after an overhaul like the lollipop os was. One main culprit is 3rd party apps that are not quite up to speed with the new os. This can cause erratic behavior like you are describing. There are a couple things we can do to test & fix this. The first would be to wipe the cache partition which you can do here http://spr.ly/6587B6Gr5 . Once that is done lets also put the phone into safe mode for 12 - 24 hours to see if the phone performs better without the third party apps running. I tried these steps. It did not make a difference. I have to turn my WiFi

on at home to use my phone.
