Losing 4G connectivity

My Galaxy S4 loses it's 4G connection routinely.  I sometimes get bumped down to 3G or worse, no connection at all.  I have no issues with wi-fi connectivity.  This is driving me nuts and I'm ready to toss this phone into the middle of a busy highway. Any suggestions please.

Have you tried reseating the SIM card?  Turn off the phone, remove the SIM card (be careful not to touch the gold contacts), wait a few minutes, then reinsert the SIM card, turn the phone on, and allow it to establish a fresh network connection.  Also ensure that your mobile network is set to LTE/CDMA and not Global.
