I just want to restore a few contacts from Cloud to my new device, not all of them. How? And I don't want contacts on New device to backup and mix with synced contact from old device.

You can log into Verizon and go to My Verizon>My Device>Back up my contacts and that will take you to the cloud where you should be able to select a group of people and export them to your phone. Or in theory that's how I'd do it.
As far as not backing up your current contacts into your old ones, you'll just simply have to not back them up if you don't want them to mix or use another cloud service to back up that phone.
