Pairing works OK with Original Droid, Bionic, Razor Max but not Galaxy S5 with Lollipop. What gives?
I want your phone to connect to all your Bluetooth devices MikeFraser! Since this started after the latest software update, I recommend doing a factory reset as per this link http://vz.to/16bKOqq to ensure that no conflicts exist between previous and current system files. Uncheck at step number ***very important***.AntonioC_VZWFollow us on Twitter at www.twitter.com/VZWSuppor
Hello MikeFraser! I can certainly step in and assist you today! To clarify, is this a phone or car bluetooth please? Can you tell me more about when you are trying to pair the device? What is happening? Thanks in advance! I look forward to helping you resolve your concerns!-KristieQ_VZW Follow us on Twitter @VZW Support
Evening Kristie,
My problem persists. My Samsung Galaxy 5S will not pair with my Sony
SRS-X3 bluetooth speakers. My Samsung tablet, Droid Razor Max, Droid
Bionic and even the original Droid with the keyboard all pair successfully
with the Sony and connect reliabily.
The problem started with the Lollipop/Android 5.0 upgrade. It just scans
on and on with no success.
Luckily it still connects with my M55 earbud and the UConnect channel on my
Jeep. It seems to be only with initial pairing that we have a problem.

Good morning,
I'm not ready to take the "nuclear option" yet. That would take me several
days to restore to current state and use a significant portion of my data
plan.
Doesn't anyone at Verizon know about "Diagnostics"? I have worked in IT
for over 40 years and the "kill it and start over" model of problem solving
still bothers me. It usually means we don't know what is going on, and are
just hoping something will change. Microsoft forced this model pf problem
solving on us as it is low impact on the technician.
What is the system log for the Bluetooth peering process?
