After Updating To lollipop my galaxy s4 has been slowed down to a halt I've tried multiple factory resets it's really about to make me switch to some other carrier am I the only one annoyed with lollipop? :-( -_______-
All carriers have the lollipop update, you could hope that upon switching that your new phone hasn't been updated already. I've read an unofficial statement that v5.1 should be out by the end of July.
Can you describe or list some of the issues you're having? There may be some things you could try.
Touchwiz randomly crashes and when I try a different launcher it works until I try to close all apps it brings touchwiz back or just freezes Facebook will randomly stop responding the battery life won't even lastlong I've also disable a bunch of bloat from the setting the phone gets burning hot even when I'm not charging my notification tone won't stay to what I set it to alarm clock app turns off after a minute of ringing somethings chewing my data and is not showing what it is in settings the music app doesn't show music sometimes my SD sometimes won't be recognized
I've also read that verizon did a whole kernel update to oc1 so lollipop is the only rom they officially released with oc1 so downgrading with Odin is out the door kitkat really worked on this device
