If I could give this store ZERO stars I would! I have NEVER been treated with such utter disrespect as a customer nor witnessed such poor customer service OR lack of authority by a manager as I witnessed today in this Athens store! I have been a Verizon customer for several years now and have been in this store before and I can assure you it will be the LAST time after today. Diante was the only person trying to help while someone (not sure of his name but he was the dark headed young man--and I use the term loosely-- sitting on the counter--YES I said SITTING on the counter-- watching something very interested obviously on his phone) was offering advice from across the room under his breath about everything the store COULDN'T do for me as a customer. I approached the counter to find the manager sitting behind the wall with her feet propped up and when I asked her to come look at the phone I was in the store to activate to begin with she FINALLY got up to talk to me.....while she was speaking with me, the young man with all the knowledge from earlier was apparently shaking his head behind my back and when my boyfriend asked what he was shaking his head about, he stated and I quote, "I was looking at something on my phone....you got a problem with that??"......I am still shaking my head in disbelief that this actually HAPPENED in a customer service environment with a company I pay a great amount of money to every month! And to end this all the manager NEVER said a word to this employee! I mean NO acknowledgment at all and let us walk out of that store with that being the last experience I will EVER have there! I am guessing by the lack of lighting of the OPEN sign in the window and the poor experience, they didn't plan on doing any work in the Athens store on this Sunday afternoon......well don't worry, they won't have to ever deal with me as a customer again! GREAT JOB ATHENS VERIZON!
