$100 Port In Credit

On May 25th, 3 days after my billing cycle started, I added a new line on Edge using the a promotion for $200 off an iPhone. Actually, my brother did it in North Carolina where he lives. This line was for his girlfriend and was ported from AT&T. I was not with him as I am in a different state. The transaction went smoothly and they even got a $200 trade in for her old iPhone 4S which was applied to the tax on the new iPhone and accessories for her new phone and his iPhone 5C. I was completely happy. They left with her new phone completely activated and working. Then, imagine my surprise when I see my bill online this month and it had the $100 port in credit. In full.

I know that I am one person but Verizon does seem to live up to their end of the bargain.

I just thought that with all of the negative posts here, Verizon needs to have something good.

My situation is definitely not the norm. However, ALL promotional requirements were met. The number was ported directly and I started a new Edge Agreement. There was no setting up the phone with a Verizon issued number then porting matter.
