Why are Web pages from Go Daddy are slow.

I recently switched to Verizon Home Phone and Data and I get good up and download speed and good response for most web pages. However, I am unable to get web pages from my web site which is hosted by Go Daddy. I spent a lot of time with their support people who do not have any problems retrieving pages from the web site. Is there a way to find out where the delay is occurring?

This really isn't a Verizon Wireless question at all, it's a website design and development question. One tool that will give you some ideas where to start is PageSpeed - PageSpeed — Google Developers

GoDaddy uses shared hosting, and shared resources, unless you are paying for higher end stuff. There's much you can do to optimize your site, but that's got nothing to do with Verizon Wireless service.

I just switch to Verizon from a Centurylink DSL service and I had no issue with response time going to Go Daddy. I now have about the same download speed and a must faster upload speed so why am I experiencing a decrease in response time? I am not blaming Verizon, I am asking if there is why to trace the link and see if there is a delay anywhere in the process. It could be anything from my computer, Verizon, Go Daddy, or even the DNS Server.

I been away for the summer and did not need Verizon Internet service, but now I am back and the service is still slow. I learned there is a function called TRACERT and it shows 8 hops are necessary to get to 3-1-1.esr1.Miami2.Level3.net and then a large delay (get Request timed out twice) before making 4 more hops to the web site I am trying to reach. Is this a normal trace? Am I to expect this delay from my location in Florida?

I have this problem when accessing GoDaddy hosted sites when connected to Verizon Wireless.

It is not the site or the device; it is the Verizon network.

When my device is connected to Wifi, there is not an issue. When I connect using other devices on non-Verizon networks, there is not an issue.

Sometimes the sites load quickly, however it seems like one out of every three or four page loads ends up waiting to connect for upwards of 30 seconds. The actual transfer speeds are fine.

I hope someone from Verizon responds, as this is very frustrating.
