I am eligible for an early upgrade with Edge. Will I recieve the upgrade price on my new device?
Phones on Edge are full price paid over 24 months or less. Early Edge upgrading is only to a specified-by-Verizon phone. It may not be the model you hoped for. To receive the upgrade discount, you'd need to complete your contract and then renew a new 2 year plan.
If you are eligible to EDGE up, you have to turn in your working phone and enter into a new Edge agreement.
An Edge installment plan is not a 2 year contract agreement on your line.
Early Edge is when you are currently on an incomplete 2 year contract and want to upgrade. As mentioned you have two phone to pick from. If you want to choose your phone, wait until the 2 year subsidy agreement in done.
2 phones to choose from? When did that start?
Dont know. If you early Edge, you have to pick from Droid Turbo and another phone, don't remember what it was.
this is for people who haven't completed 2 year subsidy plan. Not the same as Edge up, which is for people on the Edge plan already and want to trade in current phone to upgrade.
just try and find any straight scoop on Early Edge.
and because the Edge plan has changed so much since it was introduced, what is true for one date range isn't for another. Pain in the rear.
Another thread on the subject...
Early Edge???
I'm a Samsung kinda girl. I would wait.
Nothing out there right now worth paying full price for. No matter the option. Not with new devices coming up.
