I Open my phone and before I can even dial I get a message saying, "unfortunately contacts has stopped working." Upon which yet he phone app immediately closes. Any solutions to this out there?
BTW........this is the GS5.

Let's see what's causing the problem! When did the issue begin? Have you recently downloaded any new applications? What is your current software version?

denb15, let's find out what's causing this error. Do you use Verizon Cloud to back up your contacts? Do you have any applications synced with your contacts, such as Facebook or an email account? I'll have to get back to you on the synching. I know I only get this error message after I have opened Contacts. It will let me search, I can see contact info and then I get the error message.
