Samsung S5 Update Lost all my files pics memory

After the recent update all my pics, music, and files were lost and when connected to a computer the memory stick no longer appears separately from the phone in explorer. Is there any way to fix this?

I'm sorry you media was lost. Were they backed up with a different application? You can seperate the SD card and device and use a memory reader.

No good. The SD card is fried and the cloud was full so I lost 200 pics and

some other stuff. Lesson learned.
