wifi connectivity, Galaxy S4, Lollipop upgraded

S4 shows connected to my home wifi, which is working fine(accessing this site on my ipad via wifi). however to switch on wifi on my s4 I cant connect to the web?

That's definitely not the experience we want for you. When you're on wi-fi you should absolutely be able to access the internet. Do you get any sort of error message when trying to do so? Does your data work when wi-fi is off?

Hi,

I just ran into this same problem. I replace my home router with Linksys WRT1200AC. Using 5Ghz band and wpa2 security, I can only access the internet if I am less than 10 feet away from the router. I still show wifi connectivity farther away but now internet. It seems to work normally if I turn off security (open network). Plenty of signal power. Other device connect very reliably more than 100 feet away. Help!
