Automatically block spam emails

Is there a way to automatically  redirect incoming potential spam/junk emails from my inbox to trash on my Galaxy 5? It does it on my laptop. I don't want to manually have to do each one.

I don't like getting pesky junk mail either, winniewest. What type of email account (Yahoo, Gmail, Exchange, etc) are you seeing this trouble with? Are you using Outlook through your laptop or are you logging directly into the website for that email account?
