Why can't I use apps after the update?

Since update apps don't work properly. How long until we get a fix on this?

I use the stock email app and i use gmail and hotmail as my providers. The error message i have that won't go away is to update google services. I am unable to update that app and am not able to update 26 other apps most of which came with the phone. The weather will not update but continues to try. It also will not back up and tells me it has not backed up for days. The battery drains quickly I believe because it continues to try to update but not really sure .

Let's take a look janey41! Software updates are released to improve your phone's performance not make it worse. What exactly is happening with your applications? When was the update done on your phone? It does take a few days before your phone is normalized and starts running like normal. What make/model phone do you have?

My phone is Lg2. Installed update 4/22. Weather will not update. Email will not update. It continues to try. Draining battery. Why do certain apps say they were installed in 1/6/1970. Google play store is one of them.s

Thanks for the details. Did you notice any error messages during the update? Are you using the stock email application on the device or a different application? Who is the email provider?
