Integrated messaging issue? Unable to connect to internet?

Since this morning, I've apparently been unable to send/receive messages. I keep getting an error message that says "unable to connect to the internet. You may send and receive messages on your phone but it may be temporarily out of sync with other devices. The integrated messaging service will reconnect once the internet connection is restored. To manually reconnect tap Retry". When I tap retry, nothing happens. Even weirder is that I can receive emails and make/receive phone calls.

Are you getting the message on your phone or your computer? Do you have internet access? I realize you are posting on the forums, but you could be doing that from your mobile device or work.

I'm getting the message on my phone (posting this from my computer). I have an HTC android 1. It looks like I do have internet access on my phone.

Now I just received a message saying this "mobile number does not have permission to send messages. Please contact the account owner for this mobile number to change permissions." Wtf.

Are you the account holder? It sounds like a Sim card issue or an issue on Verizon side. Hard to say without having the phone. I'd give them a call or start a chat.

I am having the same problem this morning (Jun 11, 2015). Unable to send text messages, same error message. I am connected to the internet. I have been able to send messages on previous days.
