Verizon is one big rip off !!

I ordered an Iphone 6 to go with my already established plan which was set at 16gb a month on more everything plan.first off the order never showed up in my order history so throwing up a red alert to myself i check into it ...come to find out verizon swapped my plan which is still under contract ..from 16gb a month for 115 dollars a month to 132 dollars a month for only 4.gb a month after i already canceled the order with a online tech before ever being charged the taxes for the phone order ...after the tech assuring me that everything was going to be fixed as it was and i would not be charged as i canceled the order completely ...two days later my card was charged 61 dollars for the phone which is not being shipped because the order was canceled mins after it was made ...my data is now stuck at only 4 gb when I am in contract another three months for the 16gb regardless if they no longer offer that it is part of my initial contract and the 61 bucks stolen two days after it was all supposed to be taken care of is BS ..I want my money back YESTERDAY and my account returned to the way it should be ..as of right now verizon is breaching their own contract with me and that to me feels like FRAUD..nothing but a bunch of fraudulent thieving TARDS and I can assure I will never use the service provider again and I am ending the relationship after my contract which they voided is taken care of and my money returned BTW VERIZON good luck getting whatever you try to charge me from here on out ..you steal from me I get EVEN ..ASSHOLES!

For what it is worth...you never sign a contract for the price plan. This is why when a different pricing structure is released you can switch to it without extending your contract. We have the ability to change our price plan at will to suit our usage or financial needs. So, no, VZW is not at all breaking a contract. The rest of your post does not make sense. Why, exactly, was your plan changed? You had to have authorized it. I have the 30GB promotional data plan and I upgraded a line on Edge and it did not effect my plan at all. For further clarification, once the button is pushed for an order to be placed it cannot be canceled. It takes more days for the cancellation than for the order to be processed. My guess is that you will receive the device that was ordered if you were charged for it. You can then take it to a corporate store and return it. If it is unopened then you should not be charged a restock fee. You could also refuse the package when it is delivered.

Get used to it. Verizon took my company discount away 5 months into the contract. The reason? They said the deal I had was already good enough so I didn't need the discount. And yes, that was their reason.

Let hit Verizon where it hurts in the money like they doing to us. I have been having problems with them since I upgrade my plan and now with the amount of usage . My phone was not even a month old and already they claim my 500mg were done even though I hardly make use of my phone and I even kept it off , they when ahead and charge me more without talking to me first. No company should have to charge you more without letting you know. They keep sending me a message that I used up all my data but when I try to log in to change the plan it won't allow me. At this point I would have gone for the $10.00 a month more but I can not log in to that link so I guess they going end up charging me $15.00 instead. I send myself an email which did not show up on my phone but when I log in on another computer it show up. What's going on with that? I do not know whose running things there. But I certainly hope that the public will make enough fuss to stop this practices. Like I said they need to be gotten from where it hurts the money. I'm not saying you should not be charge a fee for your service. But this ridiculous surprise charges need to stop. And Verizon should be investigated by the District Attorney or which ever Law agency that deals to review their charges practices. Social Media and the News are good ways to spread the word. It may make them rethink of other ways to retain their profit without going to deep into the consumer's pocket.

If you go over your allotment then you will be charged. They don't have to tell you. It is your responsibility to know how much data you are using throughout the month.

Are you trying to do this from your phone? In the mobile app? I have never had a problem managing my account on www.vzw.com.

I think you are misguided in your understanding of what exactly VZW is responsible for. The email not showing up on your mobile device is not VZW's responsibility. However, you could call tech support (from a different phone) to have someone help see if there are settings that need to be adjusted on your device. Or maybe contact your email provider since it is their service that you are having difficulty with.

Regardless of what you think, VZW has a team of lawyers who make sure that they operate within the confines of the law. You are more than welcome to challenge it but, rest assured, Verizon has already checked into the legal ramifications BEFORE deciding to institute a policy. It seems your issue with the price of service and to that I say that there are lots of other choices for carriers. With all of the buy out promotions there should be no problem finding one that will be a better fit for your pocket.
