Ok, I'm mad as hell of your switch and bait. Now it's up to 18 months to upgrade! Not what I signed up for. Verizon needs to reconsider this poor move. I may start to look at other carrier plans.
Sincerely,
Bob
On October 16, Verizon changed Edge to 18 months or 75% payoff. Since your iPhone 6 was after this date, it will be under the new rules. You can upgrade in 18 months or anytime earlier if you pay off 75% of the phone.
When did you start Edge? If the 12 month rule was in effect when started, that is still the rule for you until your next Edge agreement.
I went on the edge program on 4/9/14 to a iPhone 5s 64 gold gb phone. I then upgraded to the iPhone 6 128 TV gold on about 11/10/14. Thank you for looking into this for me.

Most other carriers have similar rules...or like VZW, they'll let you edge up if you're willing to pay the gap...
You don't have to wait 18 months. You can upgrade after 30 days but you will have to make the equivalent of 18 payments. So if you make 12 payments of $35.41 and you want to upgrade you will pay at the time of upgrade 6x35.41=$212.46 and turn in the device to be able to get a new one. The rules are the same they just changed the payoff percent from 50% to 60% then to 75%.
Thank you for the answer.
