Is there a way to export my contacts on my Android to an Excel File?

Gmail on a PC. You can go to your contacts and export them easiest from there.
Open your People or Contacts app on your phone. Select the menu button and select Import/Export then follow the prompts. Takes about 3 seconds to do. Or you can do it from a computer on Gmail itself.
Via PC you can change the file type. Your phone may only allow up to 3 file types.
