My droid turbo is eating up data. With my Samsung G3 I hardly used any data at all and now I'm nearly over my limit. I'm using the same apps the same amount. I do not like this phone!
And further.... I don't like that I can't turn off apps as easily as I could with my Samsung.
How do I close apps in the background - especially those I don't know are running? With my Samsung it was easy. No easy way to do it with the droid.
Turn data off and inky use wifi like I do I wish I kept my iPhone thus phone HSS issues and bug red ignores it all
Plus when I post words always change lmao

Really iPhones are notorious for turning off wi-fi un-expectantly.
I am having the same issue, along with a few others! I absolutely hate this phone. I loved it for the first 24 hours, but not anymore. I have followed all the steps of "only updating while connected to wifi" and unchecked "poor connections" and still having issues. One major problem I have is while I am connected to my wifi at home with a strong connection, my data is continuing to be used randomly. No way my data should be used at hours while I am asleep (times around 12 am, 2 am, 4 am, 5 am, etc.) and while I am connected to my home wifi. Definitely an issue with this phone. Also, cannot connect to my wifi at work. Had not problems with my Razr Maxx HD connecting. Phone says "saved, secured with WPA/WPA2" but it never allows me to use this network and connect. Verizon and Motorola, this is completely unacceptable.
Verizon claims they know nothing of this issue but you can find forums on this issue and 5.1 update suppose to have a fix but that doesn't seem to be a high priority for Verizon
Not a high priority because they can bill for more usage. I'm really fed up with them right now. Runaround all the time.
pardon my ignorance, but what is inky?

How did you do this with the Samsung? One the Turbo, go to Settings -> Apps -> scroll over to Running, and stop any that you don't want to run.
Yeah, that's a pain. On the Samsung, I could press a button on the main screen and choose "close all open apps." Done. What a royal pain to have to do it for each one. This phone is crap - designed to get more billable usage for Verizon.
