I am getting spammed every once in a while using the OEM Verizon Messages app. (Sony xperia Z3V) Is there any way to block messages, or senders?
You can block five numbers for 90 days for free with infinite times you can renew the block. This is through your MyVerizon account online.
I personally would use a different app from the Play Store to block spam unlimited texts. However, most or all of the available apps require you to use the app as the default messaging app. Hangouts, which is built into Android based phones is a good one, but that's just an opinion.
