LG G2 updated to version 28a but not 39a (lollipop).

LG G2 did what seemed like 2 updates OTA. Once completed the phone slowed down and battery drained very quickly.  Did factory reset and that fixed speed and battery issues.  Checked software version and it is 4.4.2 (28a). Now when I try to go to System Updates, I get "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped."  Have checked over 2 weeks and no changes.  Tried VZW Software Upgrade Assistant through USB but it says software is up to date.

Thanks for trying those great steps, vzw_tx. I've come across this before with a 3rd party application blocking the proper update, creating that error. Try to start your phone in Safe Mode http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-106047 before attempting the update.
