If so which models work?
On your last post (now no longer visible) you indicated you were getting model D6653, the International model from Amazon. This will not work. It does not have CDMA, and it does not have LTE band 13 and 4.
None of the Z3 models will work with Verizon. None of them have CDMA which is required. Only the D6603 has band 13 support, but still it has no CDMA so it will not work. There is a small chance DD603 will have some functionality on LTE only, but you will have all kinds of problems. I would consider it not compatible. If you want Z3 on Verizon it must be Z3v.
That is why I said I hate to burst your bubble on that missing thread.
6653
UMTS HSPA+ 850 (Band V), 9
00 (Band VIII), 1900 (Band II),
2100 (Band I) MHz
GSM GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz
TD-LTE (Band 40)
FD-LTE (Bands 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 28)
D6603
00 (Band VIII), 1700 (Band IV),
1900 (Band II), 2100 (Band I) MHz
LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 13, 17, 20)
The Z3v is the only Sony that works on Verizon 100%. Any other carrier's phone might work partially, but LTE is usually lost.
What model number is in question? We would have to put the specs side by side to determine which freq and bands it MIGHT work on.
I thought I had seen this post before. I was going to refer this post to the previous post as a reply. Tidbits, Weth, and maybe even myself have given correct information in the previous post.
