FOR THE RECORD: I have had no problems with this phone for just over a year. I have never dropped it, there are no scratches, no loose or worn USB ports, or any physical damage done to the phone. Today, I left my Droid Razr Maxx, with a full charge, in my duffel bag at the gym for an hour. Upon removal, my phone displayed a black screen and wouldn't reboot. I plugged the phone into the wall charger that came with it for over 5 hours and the percentage has not increased from 0% all day. The phone shows a black screen with the outline of a battery,a lighting bolt inside of the batter, and a 0%. I cannot get it to charge or reboot and I've tried EVERYTHING. I've tried different chargers, different outlets in the house, charging from the computer, and doing a hard reset with the power and decrease volume button. The phone is unresponsive.
So: I call tech support. They cannot solve my problem either. After an hour of troubleshooting, they say that my factory warranty ended on April 22nd and dismissed me. I did no damage to the phone, its obviously a technical issue and they cannot fix the problem/will not replace the phone. Terrible customer service! Not pleased.
