lg enact reciever and mic issue

lg enact: when i charge my phone it wont let me hear or be heard unless i restart the phone. it isnt an issue with volume i tried that...i have already updated. is my phone just defective? i have had it for about a month and it has done this from the start.

Yes you do have a defective phone and it should be return to Verizon for a replacement or LG for service or replacement. This is not normal operation for the Enact.
