Looks like Europe gets 2.1 update first.

Wellll - not exactly.... They might have received the official release of 2.1 from Motorola first, but there have been people with the Motorola Droid running 2.1 for quite some time now... The Milestone has a digitally signed ROM and the boot loader will not accept a custom ROM, unlike the Droid.

But the american's took a chance at "bricking" their phone to install the rom.
anybody know if you are able to go back to factory defualt if that happens
