where do pics go that i download from a text?

When I receive a pic in a text message and I view it, is it saved somewhere? I have seen them show up randomly when viewing a new text pic but can't locate them. I searched my albums, checked the settings, nothing. (I'm not asking about how to save them or setting them as a contact pic because I know how to do that, just wondering where they are so I can view them and delete if needed).

I know on my phone when I save a picture it usually saves to the memory card

Hi. I understand you want to know if you receive a picture message in a text is is automatically saved somewhere. I can certainly help you from here. When you receive a picture in a text, it is not automatically saved until you save it yourself. You would just access it by going into your message history. If you do save it from the message, you will have the option to copy the picture to your SD card so you can view it later.
