On April 30th I tried to do an upgrade via the Internet and I picked the overnight shipping option, which appeared to go through without a problem. I was promised a tracking number that I never received. I called Verizon to follow up on the order and the first rep told me that I would receive it the next day. When it did not arrive, I was told by a second rep that there was a fraud alert on my account and that he didn't know why. He told me that I would have to cancel the order and do an in-store pick up for my upgrade. When I got to the store, they told me the system would not allow me to get the handset because the terms and conditions have already been accepted from the Internet order and here it sit with no phone and no upgrade. It would be nice for the Verizon website to CLEARLY state when an Internet order cannot be completed so that the customer could be fully informed before going through such hassle. Verizon is a great wireless carrier but I must give them a grade of F from communication.
