Verizon Support for Galaxy S4 purchased in India

I bought a Samsung Galaxy S4 while working in Bangalore, India 2 years ago.  I uses a SIM card and is not associated with any carrier.  I have been using it with TMobile in Portland for 1 year but I am now moving to Brookings, Oregon where TMobile doesn't work.  Will a SIM card from Verizon work in my device?  The Verizon Website says device not supported.  Verizon Tech Support says try it at a Verizon store.  Thanks in advance, Dave

We definitely want to make sure your service will work great before you try to set up this phone! You can check compatability at http://vz.to/1wmgOiw. If it doesn't show there then it isn't confirmed to be compatible with our network. You could certainly still try putting an active SIM into the phone but even if it does work it may not be compatible with all features or options we provide.
