I can't install the Software Upgrade Assistant via the instructions in the LG support site. Is there a direct download link for the LG Verizon Wireless Software Upgrade Assistant?

Should work for G3 as well.
The app should be built into the phone and pop up when you plug in to a PC. You should see a pink LG icon pop up and ask you what to do with it, click on that. The software is on a separate partition of the phones internal memory.
Yep, I absolutely agree that's what it SHOULD do. For whatever reason, it
isn't doing that.
Can you not manually update via System Update in Phone settings?

So, you only got the mandatory update part 1 and not the optional part 2? Was there a download or install failure or why are you only half-way?
I don't honestly know why, but I Googled around and it seems I would be
able to get it to 23C with the upgrade assistant. Unfortunately, I can't
get it installed.
And, this wont help much, but the SWUA rarely works, and has never worked for me, especially on white versions of the phone.
