i have an edge agreement and was thanking of trading for and iphone with somone that's also on the edge plan. trade edge for edge. Would we be able to do that? Also would it affect us in the long run when its time to edge up again?
Yes it will, and EDGE agreements are not transferable. You guys can trade devices, but at that point you will not be able to EDGE up because you have to exchange the correct device.
Agreed with the last. you can swap sim cards all day long, but the purchase contract on EDGE is tied to that device ID and is nontransferrable. Once the phone was paid off, you would be able to edge up, but you would not be able to participate in any early edge offers that required the return of your original device.
