Desktop Messenger does not display contacts from phone

I have downloaded desktop messenger and none of the contact from my phone show on the messenger contact list. That also applies for contacts on Verizon cloud. None of my phone contacts show up on Verizon cloud. However if I type a contact info Desktop Messenger it will show on the cloud. I need to get the contacts from my phone primarily onto Desktop Messenger but they should also update with Verizon Cloud. I have a Samsung Galaxy S6. Using Windows 7 Pro with both Desktop Messenger and Verizon Cloud installed. I have synced both ways with no results.

I had the same issue and never had it resolved. I use Mighty Text app now on the phone and PC and everything syncs fine.

Thanks for the info I will check that out. Too bad Verizon does not have a fix to what should be a simple resolution.

Verizon Messages+ works excellent. I'd try removing then reinstalling you might have missed something in the initial setup process.
