I have an LG G3 that I got in January. For the last 2 weeks the battery will not last all day, even when I'm not using it and the phone heats up! I assume this means the battery is bad? After only 6 months?
I want yout to love your phone and I'm here to help! Have you recently downloaded any new applications? How much battery life are you experiencing after a 100% charge?

I have not downloaded anything new, I have no games on this phone at all. It was at 94% when I left at 8:30am and by 11:30 it was hot to the touch and at 51% and it just sat on the counter. The only thing I did was respond to 2 texts.
I had problems with my lg g3 too, but my problem started after updating my phone. I followed the following advice and most if not all of my problems went away. My battery life is back to normal. This is advice from Snn5

For all affected parties of the G3 post LP update:
Once you get the notification that the update is available or has already downloaded, BUT has yet to install:
This is my usual process and I have had no issues.
The reasons for disabling app data is due to the fact that DAVLIK is now ART and the Android Optimization process might not go as planned if you just slap the new OS over the old OS. Also, when you go back to the Play Store to download apps, they will be the correct version this time for this OS.
Lastly, to quell the wifi connection issues download DNSet from the Google Play Store."

I admit it seems my steps are a bit overboard, but step 3 and the bottom paragraph with reasons as to why are the most important.
It does seem like a lot, but worth a try! Thank you!
