Not seeing how to send a text to created group - Droid Turbo

I have set up a group in my contacts but cannot figure out how to send a text to that group.  When I go to messaging and pull up my contacts the group does not show up.  I can not find away to send a text to the group when I have the group pulled up in the people app.  Would love help as this I need to send out group texts frequently as part of my job.

Metz72, here's a second pair of eyes to look into this option for you. Are you using a 3rd party text messaging application or the stock text messaging application embedded on your phone?
