My Verizon Network Extender has stopped working. I have a blue power light, a red system and a magenta GPS light. Sometimes they all go magenta for a few minutes. Any ideas what is wrong?
Did you try unplugging everything for a few minutes; extender, modem and router? Then plugging in the modem, then router, then extender?
Is your internet working?
My unit is also not connecting at the moment. Been down for 45+ minutes.
And it's up again.
Did you have home Internet access during the down time?
Yes. Internet access was never down.
Did you do as mentioned above, power down and unplug everything for a few minutes?
Lost GPS signal is the most often par of the problem. Make sure to use the extension cable and make sure the GPS module is attached to the cable then to extender. Each time you restart one of these things, it can take 15 min to several hours for the GPS to lock on.
yes I unplugged for a whole day and then powered back on. Still the same lights showing with no change.
*This is on a surge protector also.
as Snn5 mentioned has it had an adequate amount of time to allow the GPS to lock on?
