Little to no bars and poor reception after moving to new area

We moved to a new area about 10 days ago and my Samsung Galaxy S4 does not allow me to carry on a conversation. I can hear the other party; they tell me I am cutting in an out or can't hear me at all. The call also suddenly drops. I usually have only a tiny bar. I am able to send and receive texts and my wifi works fine. The reception is a bit better outside.

My husband has the exact same phone and he does not have this problem at all.

I checked the Verizon coverage map where you are able to input your address, and the coverage is supposed to be great.

Is there anything I or Verizon can do? Right now, my phone is basically worthless here.

Try turning off the phone, removing the SIM card, waiting a few minutes, then reinsert the SIM card, turn the phone back on, and allow it a few minutes to establish a fresh network connection.

I am sorry to hear of the service issues. What exact zipcode are you receiving services issues in? To clarify, I see you stated your husband has the exact same phone, is he also in the VZW family? How far exactly do you have to travel to get a consistent signal to be able to hold a conversation on the phone?

I don't have any service where I live either. The wilds of Edison, NJ (one of the most densely populated area in the US). There's a free app called OpenSignal, shows you the cell coverage, and allows you to filter by cell carrier. Where I live, EVERY OTHER CELL COMPANY HAS COVERAGE, except Verizon. And this is not a new experience, my first cell phone in the 1995 range verizon was called Cellular ONE, had terrible coverage then, and still do.

We'd like to see you enjoying your services with us. I don't see any alerts for the area of Edison and 4G should be prevalent there. What model phone do you have? What services are being affected on your device? Do your signal issues happen inside a building or outside?

According to your coverage maps, I have coverage. I don't, without the network extender I can not make calls from my house, and this includes my wife and daughters. I had to buy a network extender (twice!) in order to make a call from my home. I also know my neighbors who have Verizon have the same problems.

I've repeatedly asked tech services to send a truck to my street and check the signal strength.

Thank you for providing those helpful details. Just to make sure we're understanding the problem correctly, we want to clarify some additional information. You are aware that calls will not work without a network extender, were these extenders purchased from VZW? When you say that you asked for us to send service techs to the area, does this mean that you spoke with technical support and filed a network ticket? If so, when was the ticket filed? When did the service problems begin?
