My HTC One did an update and now I have a new icon on top bar....can't figure out what it is.... Looks like 2 hockey sticks laying next to each other. ??
Just found that it means NFC is on.....what is that?

I am going to say yes, but I want to make sure on this...
Does it look like a white box with 2 L shape figures forming the shape of a N? If yes then yes it is your NFC icon letting you know it's on.
Yes...and I did figure out how to turn it off..Just wonder what it is...

Since the update my phone is crazy. First it is very slow, has a long delay with almost every thing, second there is pop ups now. No matter what I am doing all the sudden my phone is forces into Google play for free games, so annoying. Third when I turn on my hotspot no one can connect to me and fourth when I set up my lock screen and then when I went to turn off lock screen it won't let me. The option isn't even available. Says something about device admin etc....is in control. Really? Why? Please help. If this can't 've fixed I will have to leave Verizon and I really don't want to
kirastar,
Team VZW is here to help, so let's get your phone back in working order. What's the make and model of your device? Since the update have you updated your applications as well? Do you have a screen protector on your device? Please share details to further assist you.
