AmAze with Eris?

Hello all. Some of you may have seen my post about how I'm thinking about getting the Droid Eris a few days ago. I've been researching it some more because the GPS is a big issue with me. I was checking out a site for a GPS voice turn-by-turn app called amAze for cell phones and it says it's compatible with the Droid Eris. I didn't see any posts on here about it. I was wondering if anybody has actually tried this out and if so what they think of it. Thanks.

i tried looking for AmAze in the Android market & did not find it. There are other GPS apps though in the market.

Do any of them have turn-by-turn voice navigation? If so, which ones?

with the 2.0 update for the eris, you can now use the google maps app, which is free just like amaze is. so if you are concerned about that alone, dont worry you have access to two great apps which you will be able to test drive with no charge.

if you do get the amaze, please review.

Did the Eris finally get the 2.0 update? Everywhere I read it says it's running 1.5.

Okay yeah that's what I've been hearing. I'm gonna be getting it as a late Christmas present actually but I think I might actually go buy a Garmin GPS. That way I don't have to rely on my phone. But thanks for the posts. You all have been more than helpful. Happy Holidays.

Nav4All takes a minute to get used to but it is pretty decent. And includes things like car locator and local searches so you might want to check it out.
